Ridge Road House, designed alongside Adam Wagoner of High Low Buffalo, is a 4,100 SF residence near Nederland that embraces dramatic views of Boulder Canyon. Our mechanical and plumbing design supports the home's passive solar strategy through careful integration with the architecture's orientation and window placement. The three-part composition (base, middle, and top) and 9-foot-high windows required thoughtful coordination of HVAC systems to maintain comfort while maximizing natural heating and daylighting. The design balances high-performance building systems with the home's elegant connection to its mountain setting.
